The PhD in Economics is a three-year programme involving research activities and attendance to lectures and seminars. All courses are taught in English. The thesis can be written in either Italian or English. Admission is restricted to those who have passed an examination.

Selection procedure: CV, written and oral examination.

Available positions: 14 (7 with scholarship; gross amount of the scholarship approx. €15,000 per year).

Date of the written examination: 21st of September.

The PhD in Economics aims to train scholars to begin careers as economists in academic institutions or in research centres.

For the analysis of state-of the-art research topics, PhD students can rely on scholars of international reputation and on the large scientific output of the Department.
