The Simpson and Pritchard Scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded to a postgraduate student who is accepted onto the full-time Master's in Finance and Investment programme at the University of Edinburgh. The scholarship has a value of £7,000 which will be paid in two instalments at the beginning of each academic semester.

Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit with candidates requiring the equivalent of a UK First Class Honours degree from a recognised university. Candidates will also require to demonstrate a commitment to work in the UK following graduation.

A completed scholarship application form should be received by the Scholarships and Student Finance Office by the closing date of 1 May 2007 in order to be considered for the scholarship. The Selection Committee will only consider scholarship applications from candidates who have been admitted to or are holding an offer of admission to the University of Edinburgh for the 2007-2008 academic session.

Selection Procedure

A Selection Committee will meet in late May 2007 to select the scholarship holder. The winner of the scholarship will be announced in early June 2007.
