Online Learning Programs: The Arizona Universities Network

The Arizona Universities Network (AZUN), through the vision of the Arizona Board of Regents, is the gateway to Arizona’s premier public institutions of higher education. Through AZUN, students can earn a fully accredited, online undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or professional certification from one of Arizona’s three distinguished universities, each with a proven track record of more than a century of excellence.

AZUN offers online programs through Arizona State University (ASU), Northern Arizona University (NAU), and the University of Arizona (UA).

Distance Learning Program
AZUN is a consortium of Arizona’s three universities: Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and The University of Arizona. Students can earn an online degree from one institution and take classes from all three.

Fifteen hundred online classes and fifty-three degrees allow students to design a course of study that fits busy work schedules and lifestyles. The distance courses engage students in activities that take them beyond their computer screens. AZUN students learn skills in real-world settings to advance their professional careers and facilitate networking, a key to career fulfillment.

Delivery Media
Most online classes are Web based; the class lectures and assignments are delivered through the Internet. Instructors work with designers and technicians at the three universities to adapt the classes to the Web format. When students sign up for a Web class they get the URL (the Internet site) of the class. Information on the Web site tells students how to progress through the class and what is expected.

Programs of Study
Only reputable, experienced faculty members from ASU, NAU, and UA teach classes offered through AZUN.

All three participating AZUN universities are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).

Undergraduate programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree are offered in arts and letters, enterprise in society, humanities, parks and recreation management, and public agency service. The Bachelor of Applied Science is offered in computer technology, early childhood education, health sciences, and public agency service. Bachelor of Science degrees are offered in dental hygiene, education-career and technical education, health sciences-community health, hotel and restaurant management, and parks and recreation management. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) is also offered.

On the graduate level, master’s programs include Master of Administration (M.Admin.); Master of Arts (M.A.) in applied communication, English (emphases in literacy, professional writing, and technology), and information resources and library science; Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) (mathematics); Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.); Master of Education (M.Ed.) in career and technical education, early childhood educational, elementary education-continuing professional emphasis, technology education; Master of Engineering (M.Eng.); Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.) in electrical engineering, executive embedded systems, materials science engineering, semiconductor processing and manufacturing; Master of Science Nursing (M.S.N.); Master of Science in optical sciences and in technology.

Programs at the graduate level also include the Doctorate of Nursing (Ph.D.).

Certificates are available in educational technology, international tourism management, parks and recreation management, professional writing, public management, restaurant management, and speech-language pathology assistant studies.

Postbaccalaureate certificates are offered in case management and in multimedia writing and technical communication. SOLISTC Secondary Mathematics and Science Teacher Certification is also offered.

Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The
text in your post seem to be running off the screen
in Internet explorer. I'm not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I'd post to
let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon.
Kudos

A fascinating discussion is definitely worth comment. I do believe that
you ought to publish more on this issue, it may not be a taboo matter but generally people do
not speak about these subjects. To the next! Cheers!
