PhD Studentships 2007 MSc Open Day 2007

This open day will allow interested parties to visit the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. Visitors will receive a presentation on the MSc programmes, and be given the opportunity to chat with the relevant programme staff.

Participants will also be given demonstrations of the types of activities they are likely to encounter during their studies at the R(D)SVS, along with a tour of the facilities at the programme's disposal.

The open day will be held at the Easter Bush Veterinary Centre.

The Edinburgh Veterinary School was founded by William Dick in 1823 and is one of the oldest and largest Veterinary Schools in the UK with an international reputation for its research, teaching and clinical services.

Close collaborations with colleagues in the College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine, with the College of Science & Engineering and with the Scottish Agricultural College as well as nearby research institutes (such as the Moredun Research Institute, Roslin Institute and the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland) give excellent opportunities for co-operation in research fields.

The Open Day will include presentations on the following MSc opportunities.

* MSc Equine Science
Dr Jo-Anne Murray
* MSc Behaviour & Welfare
Dr Christine Moinard
* MSc International Animal Health (e-learning)
