Masters of Public Health-University of Missouri–Columbia

The Masters of Public Health (MPH) is the standard professional degree recognized throughout the world for public health practice. The MPH program at the University of Missouri–Columbia trains practitioners, teachers, researchers and administrators to plan, implement and evaluate programs aimed at enhancing health in human populations through organized effort on the local, state and national level.

Starting in the fall of 2007, MU will enroll its first class of MPH degree candidates. All students will be educated in the core domains of public health and be highly qualified to enter the public health workforce. MU Public Health students will choose one of three Concentration Areas, where they can focus the program to fit their interests and skills:

* Public Health Policy and Administration
* Veterinary Public Health
* Health Promotion and Disease Prevention

Dual degrees will be available in a number of areas including Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Public Affairs, Health Administration, and Social Work. The Master of Public Health (MPH) is the standard professional degree recognized throughout the world for public health practice and it is your key to an exciting new career!

The MPH program will begin accepting applications mid-February and continue admitting students for the fall of 2007 throughout the summer.
